Need to Change Your Appointment?

Rescheduling Your Appointment

Plans change. If you need to move your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible and use the online scheduling tools when available. If you don't see another appointment time that works, you can use the Waitlist, Contact to Book option, send a text or email to inquire about additional availability.

Helpful Tips

  • Reschedule as soon as you know your plans have changed.

  • Online booking can be used to manage many appointment changes directly.

  • If you don't see a suitable opening, join the waitlist.

  • Text or email if you need assistance finding another appointment time.

When You Need to Cancel

Cancellation Notice

Because appointment times are reserved specifically for each client, advance notice gives the opportunity to offer that time to someone else. Please review the cancellation policy provided when scheduling your appointment for the applicable notice period and any associated fee.

Helpful Tips:

  • Cancel or reschedule as soon as possible.

  • Use the online booking when the option is available.

  • If you're unable to make an online change, send an email or text.

  • Advance notice helps another client use the appointment time.

When Plans Change Unexpectedly

Late Cancellations

Late cancellations are appointments changed or cancelled within the applicable 24-hour cancellation window. Because the appointment time has been held specifically for you, late cancellations may be subject to the cancellation fee outlined in the policy.

Helpful Tips

  • Contact me as soon as you know you cannot attend.

  • Don't wait until the appointment time if you already know you'll be unable to come.

  • If an unexpected situation occurs, communicate as soon as possible.

When an Appointment Is Missed

Missed Appointments

An appointment that is missed without notice prevents the reserved time from being offered to another client and may be subject to the full appointment fee. If you realize you've missed your appointment, please reach out as soon as possible rather than waiting to reschedule.

Helpful Tips

  • Save your appointment confirmation and reminders.

  • Add your appointment to your personal calendar.

  • Contact me as soon as possible if an unexpected situation prevents you from attending.

Your Appointment Time Is Reserved for You

Late Arrivals

Arriving on time allows your full appointment time to remain available for your care. If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so the next client's appointment can begin on time. The scheduled appointment end time generally remains unchanged.

Helpful Tips

  • Allow extra travel time when possible.

  • Review the office location and parking information beforehand.

  • Contact me when it's safe if you're running late.

  • If you arrive late, we'll make the most of the time remaining.

When Life Happens

Unexpected Circumstances

Unexpected situations happen. Illness, emergencies, family circumstances, weather, and other situations may occasionally interfere with an appointment.

If something unexpected occurs, communicate as soon as you're able. Each situation will be considered with appropriate context while maintaining fairness and consistency for all clients.

Helpful Tips

  • Contact me as soon as possible.

  • Don't worry about explaining more than you're comfortable sharing.

  • If you're sick or experiencing symptoms that could affect others, please contact me rather than coming to your appointment.

  • If you're unsure whether a situation qualifies as an emergency, reach out.

Recommendations are always individualized and based on your goals, how your body responds to treatment, and what best supports your long-term wellness.
