Health History & Intake
Every body has its own blueprint. Before treatment begins, we'll review your health history, current concerns, previous injuries, surgeries, lifestyle, and goals for today's session.
This conversation helps me understand not only what you're experiencing, but also the factors that may be contributing to it. It provides the foundation for a treatment plan that's tailored specifically to you.
Helpful Tips:
-
Be as detailed as you're comfortable sharing. Even information that may not seem related can help guide your care.
-
Mention any recent injuries, surgeries, illnesses, or changes in your health since completing your intake form.
-
Share your goals for today's appointment. Whether you're looking to relax, address discomfort, or support recovery, understanding your priorities helps personalize your session.
-
There are no right or wrong answers. The intake conversation is simply an opportunity to better understand your needs.
-
Questions are always welcome. If you're unsure why something is asked, feel free to ask during your appointment.

Assessment & Conversation
Assessment is an important part of Blueprint Discovery. Depending on your needs, this may include observing posture, movement, range of motion, areas of tension, swelling, or other factors that help guide treatment.
You'll always have the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and discuss your goals before treatment begins.
Rather than following a predetermined routine, your appointment is shaped by what your body needs that day.
Helpful Tips
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily if a movement assessment is appropriate.
-
Be honest about how you're feeling today. Your body may have different needs than it did at your last appointment.
-
Let me know if anything changes during your session. Feedback helps ensure treatment remains comfortable and effective.
-
Assessment isn't a test. It's simply a way to understand how your body is moving and responding today.
Your personalized treatment
Individualized Care
Following your assessment, treatment is customized specifically for you. Your session may incorporate a variety of techniques depending on your goals and presentation.
Rather than focusing on a single modality, treatment is guided by your body's needs and may include relaxation focus, therapeutic bodywork, lymphatic techniques, craniosacral therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, stretching, hot towels, or other supportive approaches when appropriate.
Every appointment is different because every body is different.
Helpful Tips
-
Every appointment is different. Your treatment is guided by your body's needs rather than a predetermined routine.
-
Comfort is important. Please let me know if you'd like more or less pressure, an adjustment to positioning, or a change in room temperature.
-
Communication is encouraged. You're welcome to ask questions or share feedback at any point during your session.
-
Relaxation looks different for everyone. Some clients enjoy quiet, while others prefer conversation—your preferences are always respected.
Continuing Your Care
After Your Appointment
Following your treatment, we'll spend a few moments discussing how your body responded, any recommendations for aftercare, and whether additional appointments may be beneficial.
You may also receive personalized suggestions for hydration, movement, self-care, or other strategies to support your progress between visits.
Healing rarely happens in a single appointment. Each session builds on the last, supporting your body as it adapts over time.
Helpful Tips
-
Drink water and listen to your body. Staying hydrated and giving yourself time to rest can help support recovery.
-
Gentle movement is often beneficial. A short walk or light stretching may help your body adjust after treatment.
-
Temporary soreness can be normal. Some clients notice mild tenderness for a day or two, particularly after focused therapeutic work.
-
Reach out if you have questions. If something doesn't feel expected or you'd like guidance after your appointment, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Looking Ahead
Planning Future Care
Every appointment provides new information about how your body responds. Follow-up care isn't about following a preset schedule—it's about building on what we learn together and adjusting your care as your needs evolve.
Some clients visit occasionally for relaxation, while others benefit from a short series of appointments followed by periodic maintenance. Any recommendations are individualized and made collaboratively based on your needs—not a predetermined schedule.
Helpful Tips
-
Healing is rarely a single appointment. Lasting progress often develops over time.
-
Recommendations are personalized. Follow-up care is based on your goals, response to treatment, and individual needs.
-
Consistency often provides the best results. Regular care may be beneficial depending on your goals and condition.
-
Your plan can change over time. As your needs evolve, your treatment approach and appointment frequency can evolve as well.

Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. Depending on your treatment, you may be asked to undress to your comfort level. Professional draping is always used to ensure your privacy and comfort throughout your session.
If you're scheduled for lymphatic care or surgical support, you may also be asked to bring or wear any recommended compression garments if applicable.
